There's been too much pain in this lifetime
But i know the world holds beauty far beyond my imagination.
We must break the focus on the negative aspects of life
and to freely seek out what can bring catharsis, in just one moment
I sat by the river looking upwards toward the raven sky
out through clearing from the canopy of trees,
Cause' in the forest
nothing really dies, it just sinks into the soil, after the rain, just to be reborn.
I watched the doves they swarmed the sky
And became like the clouds
Blocking the sunlight from my eyes
I felt the wind
Rushing through my soul
And cleansing me from within
And then the rain started to sprinkle on my face
And the smell of the earth
Filled my desperate soul with such elation
I fell to my knees
So grateful just to be on this plane
Wept tears of joy
As I stared out on this world in captivation
