I ventured out, into the silent night
When I saw you there cloaked in the subtle moonlight
Like a shadow drifting by
The whispering wind fed my ears your cries
I followed you out, onto the shore
when your feet touched the water
you disappeared before my eyes
I went aboard an abandoned boat
Dismounted the anchor and I pushed the thing afloat
I paddled through the water, as hard as I could.
Compelled in the pursuit of you on this floating piece of wood.
I finally achieved, a glimpse of you
But when your eyes caught mine I could see right into you.
Without words You begged of me to set you free
To let you get lost once more in the droning sea
I asked you how that I could help,
You pointed to an amulet that you could not remove yourself.
As I paddled close for a better view
I reached for your hand but mine went right through yours.
You said only the amulet is keeping in my plane
And the only way to free you is that Id have to break the chain.
She stood up in the water right next to the boat.
I looked into her eyes again as my hands reached towards her throat.
I then clasped at the chain on both sides of the stone
My hands were shocked by an energy of whom's origin's unknown
I pried it apart it took all of my might
Then the broken spell dispersed
Like fireflies in the night
The impact left me paralyzed as I fell forward into the bow
With visions flowing through my head it felt like a thousand hours Or so
You couldn't say a thank you, you just reached your hands towards me
and now your free to roam sweet soul across the droning sea.
